Our Mission
We are a Christian organization that regularly hosts small groups to help individuals in our community find hope, freedom and healing from mental health challenges, grief, addictions and other life-controlling problems through the transforming power of the Gospel.
Our groups are lead by trained facilitators who know and live in this transforming power. Through topical curriculum, they will journey with you in a way that is specific and applicable to your life-circumstances and help you find real power over sin and the struggles of life.
We don’t just want to walk you though a group and go our seperate ways, our true heart is to form a community of people who have been transformed by the power of Christ and equip them to help someone else find the Power to Change!
Our Beliefs
​We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. [2 Timothy 3:16-17]
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. [1 John 5:7]
We believe in the deity of Christ, in the virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. [Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 1:1-3, 4:14-15, 9:11-12]
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. [Acts 2:38]
We believe that to be saved a person must repent of their sin and cast themselves on the mercy of God in surrender to Christ Jesus. [Romans 10:9-10]
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. [John 5:28-29]
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ [John 13:3 4; Philippians 2:2]
We believe in the biblical standard of marriage between one man and one woman. [Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:25]
Our Team
Staff
Power2Change is moving into a new season and is currently dreaming up several staff roles to accomadate future growth of the organization. Pray with us as we discern what God has for Power2Change in 2025!
Board
These are the overseesrs of the organization. The Board consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar and one to two at-large board members. Through prayer and Spirit led decision making the board is doing their best to walk in unity and obedience to the will of God for Power2Change!
